Description: Knit in the round from the brim to the crown. (That almost rhymes!) Cuff makes the hat cute and fun. It’s stretchy for those of you blessed with lots of hair.
Before you start: Know how to use either a magic loop or double-pointed needles. Know how to join and knit in the round. Know how to Knit, Purl and knit 2 together.
Difficulty Level: Intermediate - Aprox. 3 hours make time
Yarn: Size 5 bulky weight, 140 yds. I used Lionbrand - Tweed Stripes But use whatever yarn speaks to you and fits the gauge.
Materials: US 10, 6mm DPN (I used DPNs but use magic loop method if you prefer, or short circular needles until the decrease rows make it too tight), A large eye darning needle, 1 stitch marker.
Gauge: 14sts x 18rows = 4in stockinette on US10/6mm
Size: Sized for adult heads, the stretch makes it great for any gender!
Abbreviations: C/O - cast on, K - knit, P - purl, Pm - place marker, Rep - Repeat until the end of the round K2tog - knit 2 together, P2tog - Purl 2 together.
Finished Dimensions: 18” circumference 46cm (with lots of stretch) 8.5” from bottom of folded cuff to crown 21.5cm
